Z$tat$ – Bad Boy

The homie Z$tat$ takes us back to that vintage Bad Boy golden era on his latest track with this smooth new offering. One of our favorite new Long Island artists, Z$tat$ out of Central Islip is back in the studio hard at work releasing new gems. This latest song ‘Bad Boy’ has a really chill, 90s style vibe to it.

“Duckin one time, out here on the front line, repercussions for a sucker tryna take mine, Bad Boy that they never want to see shine, a real nigga was always in my bloodline.”

Gotta love the ‘Shyne’ reference/play on words in the chorus, perhaps one of the most forgotten Bad Boys. The YGRF affiliate Z$tat$ is a young up and coming artist but he really raps like an old soul on this one.

“If it ain’t about the bread youngin let it be, cause niggas out here getting fouled with no referee”.

A lot of newer/younger artists starting out these days are going for a Famous Dex/Lil Uzi Vert style flow or even a Migos style, which isn’t a bad thing, but it’s definitely nice/refreshing to hear a new artist take more of an old-school approach and also pay some homage to days gone by.

Z$tat$ is really starting to turn up the momentum so keep an eye on him and his Soundcloud which you can check out here and also keep checking back here on our site in the coming days for some more new tracks, the next one we put up is going to be a monster.

Also check out his last track we put up here, No Discussion
